The Loreleis is the premiere, all-female a cappella group at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. This student group is named after the mythical siren that enchanted sailors with her voice and lured them to their deaths.

The Loreleis is a nonprofit organization that was established in 1981 and consists of seventeen dedicated undergraduate women. We perform for both campus and community events. The group releases a new album every other year and tours nationally and internationally twice a year. The Loreleis include a wide variety of styles in song selection; their current repertoire includes contemporary pop, R&B, country, alternative, oldies and holiday classics.
